We are specialised in remaking and restoring the DE PADOVA sofa and armchair TUAREG model designed by VICO MAGISTRETTI in 1994.
Our aim De Padova Tuareg restoration is to maintain the looks and aesthetics of the originals and, if necessary, improve its inner quality. This sofa has a steel and wooden structure with elastic belts on the seating part, polyurethane foaming on various parts and lined with polyester wadding.
Subject to a previous evaluation the restoration process can be carried out in the following way:
A) replacement or restoration of the covering with a material chosen from a vast collection of skins and fabrics, both modern and classical. If using washable fabrics before wrapping up we carry out another washing in order to avoid later possible shrinkages.
B) replacement of damaged parts by inserting a new suspension steel system and a new padding using high density expanded polyurethane type SR75.
C) replacement of the seating padding with a new one made with unshrinkable material type Lympha 40.
