We are specialised in reconstruction and restoring of the sofa and armchair CASSINA model 405 duc designed by Vico Magistretti in 1973.
Our aim is to maintain the looks and aesthetics of the originals and, if necessary, improve its inner quality. While this sofa’s loom and padding have been made using a cold skimming foam process the restoration can be carried out in the following way (subject to a previous evaluation):
A) replacement or restoration of the covering; the new cover material can be chosen from a vast collection of both modern and classical fabric and skins. Fixed, not removable covering.
B) replacement of damaged parts by inserting a new suspension steel system and a new padding using high density expanded polyurethane type SR75.
C) replacement of cushions using an inner core in Lympha 40 covered with Dacron DuPont.
Rigidity of the cushions can be modified according to your needs.
