We are specialised in remaking and restoring the CASSINA sofa,armchair, pouffe LC2 / LC3 model and chaise lounge LC4 designed by Le Corbusier in 1928.
Our aim is to maintain the looks and aesthetics of the originals and, if necessary, improve its inner quality.
Subject to a previous evaluation the restoration process can be carried out in the following way:
A) replacement or restoration of the covering with a material chosen from a vast collection of skins and fabrics, both modern and classical. We do prefer using naturally coloured aniline skins without chrome. If using washable fabrics for the new cover before wrapping up we carry out another washing in order to avoid later possible shrinkages.
B) replacement of cushions using an inner core in Lympha 40 covered with Dacron DuPont or a Lympha 40 feather supplement. Rigidity of the cushions can be modified according to your needs.
C) padding replacement using high density expanded polyrethane SR75 type.
